Clyde Fliers Varsity Grabs Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Port Clinton
Clyde Fliers Varsity defeated Port Clinton 7-6 on Wednesday after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at six with Clyde Fliers Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Chris Florence grounded out, scoring one run.
There was plenty of action on the basepaths as Clyde Fliers Varsity collected eight hits and Port Clinton had 11.
Port Clinton got things moving in the first inning, when Carson Smith doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
