LEXINGTON — Hayley Robinett won the 400 and anchored Clyde’s winning 4×400 Saturday to give the Fliers two state berths at the Division II regional meet.

Robinett crossed the line in 58.26 seconds to claim the 400 and helped the Fliers win the 4×400 in 4:02.38.

Braylin Caudill, Olivia Norman and Marissa Stockmaster joined her in the 4×400.

Robinett had a busy day. She also ended seventh in the 800 (2:25.51), but didn’t qualify for state in that race.

The top four in each event qualified for the state meet.

Robinett and Clyde’s 4×400 girls were the only area entries to earn state berths.

Upper Sandusky’s Kenedi Hayden finished fifth in the 300 hurdles (46.82), and teammate Hannah Gier came in seventh in the pole vault (10-0).

Bellevue’s Madelyn Verhoff took eighth in the 1,600 (5:40.82).

Bellevue’s boys had two relay teams place, but not finish in the top four.

Mike Pierce, Austin Ostrum, Tanner Hundley and Paul Shelley ended sixth in the 4×200 (1:31.1). Alex Rogers, Shelley, Pierce and Treston Francis took seventh in the 4×100 (44.05).

Upper Sandusky’s Dylan Ham ended seventh in the shot (49-2).
