Meet Recap

Fliers Falter at Catawba
The conditions were perfect. Sunshine splashing its rays over a professionally groomed golf course. No wind, no threat of rain. Yet. Just two afternoons after winning their home Ralph Hohenstein Invite with an impressive 322 score, the Flier strikers could do no better than a tie with Shelby for ninth, each having 378 strokes. All five Flier golfers saw their stroke totals rise, some significantly.
New Lake Division foe Norwalk won the Invite with a 330 led by Braden Nunez’s 78. No one on the Trucker 5 scored higher than 88. Parma Padua behind a Invite medalist Ben Neumann’s 75 placed second and talented Margaretta shot a 339 behind a great round by Oliver Thomas.(79)
Most of the SBC teams finish in the bottom half of the leader board. Cincinnati Hamilton(354), Liberty Benton(358), Genoa(362), Shaker Heights(364), and Woodmore ( 371) all finished ahead of the Fliers.
Flier scores:
Ian Hilliker 88
Grant Reese 91
David Hohenstein 99
Ben Hohenstein. 100
